When you read a headline like " Gun shop urges parents to buy their children weapons to 'keep them active' ", some people might get worried. The headline of course, is fake news. The advertisement was put in Wellington letterboxes by Gun City, promoting a deal on an air rifle for supervised ...

This letter was submitted to the Minister of Police and the NZ Police in response to a number of proposed changes in police policy around the secure storage of firearms. I believe these proposed changes to be illegal and ultimately ineffective and am disappointed by the way that the police treat ...

After the Northland shooting that left three dead and one more injured, the inevitable calls for more laws, more bans, more this and more that, we should all remember that it never stops. It's never enough. The UK is planning to ban home delivery of knives.

Police Minister, Paula Bennett has held back the tide of anti-gun legislation. Rejecting 13 out of 20 recommendations of the select committee inquiry into the illegal possession of firearms.
