I spoke to someone the other day who said her daughter-in-law was Maori and grew up ashamed of it as a kid. It wasn't until she was an adult and learnt her history that the pride came. I honestly believe that is the problem nowadays.

Everything is racist! Labour MP Tamati Coffey is upset that the Maori Ward referemdums all failed. It's almost like the democratic majority don't want separatism and race-based laws.

Some African migrations are complaining that they can't find work in New Zealand and are suggesting that businesses are discriminating against them. There is more to the story of course, as it appears none actually checked if there was work available for them before moving here.
